Bethania’s Mission:
To manifest the love of God through efficient actions to fulfill the needs of disadvantaged people.
CHILDREN AND YOUTH
Children and Youth projects are socio-educational initiatives that provide material, emotional, and educational support to children from broken families and underprivileged backgrounds, children whose parents are alcoholics, children whose parents are employed overseas, children who are at risk of dropping out of school, etc. We work to address the needs of the majority of our nation’s underprivileged youngsters.
Bethania operates a CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY CENTER in Tintareni village, Anenii Noi district where children and young people receive the following care:
– During the school year, the center provides 50 children from a challenging background in Tintareni with a secure and supportive environment during the AFTER-SCHOOL period, along with educational, emotional, and material support, good nourishment, and other alternative care.
– 30 Teenagers 13 to 16 years old from Tintareni join yearly the TEENAGERS’ CLUB to help them navigate the challenges that will arise as they mature into adults.
– During SUMMER DAY CAMPS and ACTIVITIES, more than 150 kids and teens from low-income and socially vulnerable backgrounds have access to recreational opportunities.
ELDERLY AND PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
The elderly are among the most vulnerable groups to marginalization, discrimination, and poverty. Bethania strives to enhance the lives of the elderly while maintaining their independence and social interaction by providing quality day services in a welcoming, comfortable, and supportive environment. Enhancing the quality of life for senior citizens without requiring them to leave their homes and into residential care is our goal.
Through Bethania’s SOCIAL CANTEEN in Tintareni village, we provide assistance to the elderly and those with special needs from five villages.
