The ‘Adopt a Granny’ campaign is dedicated to enhancing the lives of 30 elderly individuals in the Bethania project. Through this initiative, we strive to restore dignity and bring joy to those who need it most.
Comprehensive Care Services
Over 400 elderly people have already been supported through Bethania. Help us to ensure that the next 30 are not forgotten!
Nutritious Meals
We provide nutritious meals five days per week, Monday to Friday, to up to 30 elderly people each day. The meals are tailored to meet the dietary needs of each elderly participant to support their health and well-being. Food bags are provided during vacations.
Home Care Assistance
Our dedicated team offers personalized home care services, assisting with daily tasks and ensuring a safe, comfortable living environment for homebound and bedridden elderly people.
Laundry Services
Clean clothing and bedding are more than just practical – they restore dignity, health, and comfort to our elderly. Those who would otherwise struggle to keep up with washing greatly benefit from our laundry services. All participants in the project receive this care completely free, ensuring that every elderly person feels valued, cared for, and respected.
Day Care Center
At our day center, meaningful activities do more than pass the time – they bring joy, connection, and mental stimulation, creating a true sense of community and belonging for our elderly.

WHAT IS ADOPT A GRANNY – 4 € FOR DIGNITY CAMPAIGN?
This campaign is an initiative to involve friends, former volunteers, and supporters of Bethania in directly caring for the elderly in Moldova. By “adopting a granny” for just 4€ a day, each donor helps provide food, home care, clean clothing, and companionship, bringing dignity and joy to those who need it most.
WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THE CAMPAIGN?
Our goal is to raise 15,000€ to provide care and dignity to 30 elderly people in Bethania’s program for a period of four months. Your support will cover daily meals delivered with love, regular home visits, clean clothing through our laundry service, and transportation to ensure they are never alone. It will also fund meaningful daily activities at our day care center – nourishing breakfasts and lunches, recreational and social activities, personal care and hygiene, counseling, and companionship. Every euro you give brings warmth, joy, and a reminder to these seniors that they are seen, valued, and cherished.
WHAT IS THE IMPACT?
Over the years, Bethania’s elderly care project has brought love, comfort, and support to more than 400 elderly people in Moldova. For some, these are the last days of their lives, and the care we provide brings them peace, dignity, and the knowledge that they are remembered and valued. For others, our support rejuvenates their spirit, giving them joy, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose. Every visit, every warm meal, every clean set of clothes, and every friendly conversation is more than just help—it is a lifeline that restores hope and reminds them that they are not forgotten.
